Mr. Cochrane was born and raised in Scotland and studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. For Aquila he has performed such roles as Iago in Othello, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Cyrano in Cyrano de Bergerac and Lear in King Lear in addition to several seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Apocalypse Watch for Hallmark and Benjamin Franklin for PBS. Mr. Cochrane has taught over 400 workshops for Aquila across the nation. Musical compositions for Aquila include Othello, The Man Who Would be King, Agamemnon, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest, Wrath of Achilles, Cyrano de Bergerac, Much Ado About Nothing, King Lear, The Iliad: Book One, Oedipus the King, The Comedy of Errors, The Odyssey, Julius Caesar and Birds as well as music for Peer Gynt at Two River Theater Co. and several productions with Dundee Rep.
